dublab Artists-in-Residence Pilot
I curated dublab’s first Artists-in-Residence, featuring a collaborative exhibition by Nina Keith and Sammie Veeler titled Severity of Belonging, featuring additional contributions by Olive Ardizoni (Green-House) and Rachika Nayar.
The residency supported Nina and Sammie with 2 months of time to develop their works on site at dublab’s historic facilities in University Park, a novel use of our studio that promoted community engagement and positioned dublab as a resource for artists working at the intersection of sound, new media, and sculpture.
The residency culminated in a week of open visiting hours celebrated by two seperate days of live performances in concert with the installation, which drew over 100 attendees and featured Girl Debord, Massima Bell, Colloboh, Qur’an Shaheed, as well as Nina and Sammie.
